Mary's Alpaca

Mary's Alpaca raises huacaya alpacas on more than 160 acres of rolling pastureland in The Plains, Virginia, about 45 minutes west of Washington, D.C. The farm is owned and operated by Mary Forte, whose program spans breeding, showing, and fiber production.

The herd carries a range of colors, primarily white with fawn, gray, and black animals among them. Beyond alpacas for sale in Virginia, the farm also produces fiber and alpaca-based products, reflecting a whole-farm approach to the animals rather than a breeding-only operation.
