Marnus Collies

Marnus Collies is a collie breeder in Bel Air, MD, serving Harford County near Baltimore. Its founder, Carolyn (Carrie) Keller Lenhart, has more than fifteen years of hands-on experience, maintains membership in the American Kennel Club and follows health screening protocols for hips and eyes.

Puppies are raised in a home environment with daily socialization, gentle training and exposure to children, other dogs and everyday noises. Whelping takes place in a climate-controlled nursery and each pup receives regular veterinary checks starting at two weeks of age. Several of its dogs have participated in obedience trials and herding demonstrations.

Adult collies live indoors as companions and enjoy supervised playtime in a securely fenced yard. Its operation is based on a family farmstead where collies assist with light herding tasks and adapt easily to home life. Carolyn also attends regional collie club events to stay updated on breed developments and best practices.
