Long And Sons Limousin

Long and Sons Limousin has been raising registered Limousin cattle in Afton, Iowa since 1970, making it one of the longer-running Limousin programs in the state. The operation is rooted in multi-generational agriculture, and William Long, who was one of the original "sons" the name honors, took over the registered purebred herd from his father in 1996.

Based in southwest Iowa, roughly an hour south of Des Moines, the program maintains a herd of 100 registered cows.
