Lisa's Lassies raises purebred collies in the Waterville area of northeast Iowa, situated on a working dairy farm about eight miles east of Waukon, near the bluffs of the Upper Mississippi River region.

Owner Lisa Hagen grew up with collies and brings a background in social work to how she approaches placing puppies, taking care to match each pup's temperament to the specific needs of the adopting family or individual.

The program focuses on coloring, quality genetics, and temperament. Breeding dogs carry AKC registration, and puppies are ophthalmologist-checked by ten weeks of age through Iowa State University. Puppies leave on AKC Limited Registration.
