Lions Gate Rhodesian Ridgebacks, run by Pam Whitley, is based in the Hill Country area of Austin, Texas. The program's roots go back roughly 27 years, when Pam brought home her first ridgeback while raising her family, and her involvement deepened after she discovered lure coursing and the AKC show ring. Her first show dog, a male named Bravo, earned his AKC Championship in 2008.

The kennel holds membership in the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States and follows its Code of Ethics. Dogs in the program have been actively shown in AKC conformation, performance, obedience, and companion events. Health screening is a clear priority — breeding dogs are tested for DM, cardiac function, thyroid, hips, elbows, eyes, EOAD, and JE, with results on file. The dogs are raised inside the home as full family members, and the program aims to place ridgeback puppies suited for both companion life and show potential with families across Texas and beyond.
