La Quilla Shorthorns

La Quilla Shorthorns, heritage shorthorns, Rice, WA, raises durable cattle in Yakima County and the Tri-Cities near Kennewick. The ranch has focused on careful bloodline selection for more than two decades and each animal receives routine veterinary care and health screening to support strong performance.

Animals graze on open pasture with access to sturdy shelters and are handled daily to foster calm temperaments and easy adaptability. Owner Duane Lehman applies hands-on ranching experience to daily herd management, combining family traditions with attention to individual animal welfare.
