L 7 Bar Limousin

L 7 Bar Limousin has been raising Limousin cattle out of Pukwana, South Dakota for roughly 50 years, making it one of the longer-running Limousin programs in the Northern Plains. Rod and Wendy Peterson built the operation from the ground up after returning home to ranch alongside Rod's father, Harold, starting with commercial Angus and Hereford cattle before turning to Limousin genetics in the early 1970s to improve dressing percentages and feedlot performance.
