Kcsgoldendream raises naturally raised and health-tested American and European golden retrievers in Pleasant Hill, Missouri, about 30 minutes southeast of Kansas City. The program is rooted in a family history with the breed that began when owner Ivy Anderson's children were young, with the family's early goldens participating in 4-H obedience training.

The program follows the Golden Retriever Club of America's breeder code of ethics and pairs dogs selected for health, temperament, and conformation to the breed standard. Parent dogs in the program hold therapy dog certifications and titles, and breeding pairs are chosen with an emphasis on champion bloodlines alongside sound, balanced temperament. Puppies are socialized from birth using the Puppy Culture protocol and undergo Volhard temperament testing so each dog can be matched to a compatible family.
