KBF Dorpers

KBF Dorpers, Dorper sheep, are based in Rio Vista, TX, in Johnson County and the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex near Dallas. Over the past decade they have meticulously focused on Dorper standards, registering their flock and performing routine health screenings, including fecal exams and genetic evaluations.

Their sheep graze on rotational pastures with shelter provided year-round. Lambs are handled from birth and raised alongside other farm animals, fostering gentle dispositions.

The farm has evolved from a small hobby herd to a sustainable operation, with several ewes producing twins each season. Their approach draws praise for consistent weight gains and calm temperaments.
