JMG Suffolks

JMG Suffolks raises registered Suffolk sheep in New Prague, Minnesota, about 35 miles south of Minneapolis. Owner Jeremy Geske has built the program around producing Suffolk sheep for sale that serve both the purebred and commercial markets, with the stated goal of breeding animals that are growthy and structurally correct while carrying the NSIP performance data that commercial producers rely on.

The flock participates in the National Sheep Improvement Program, and Jeremy has shown and sold breeding stock across the country at events including the Center of the Nation NSIP sale and the All-American Sheep Shows. Sire selection has emphasized traits like frame, length, hip level, and verified growth EBVs, with several JMG-bred rams going on to place and produce in multiple outside flocks.

Jeremy has served as President of the United Suffolk Sheep Association, President of the Minnesota Suffolk Sheep Association, and in leadership roles with the Minnesota Lamb and Wool Producers Association and the Minnesota Livestock Breeders Association, reflecting a long-standing involvement in the Suffolk community beyond his own operation.
