Island Airedales

Island Airedales, Airedale terriers in Isle La Motte, VT, raise puppies on a small farm in northwestern Vermont near Burlington. Island Airedales has focused on Airedale terriers for several years, maintaining active membership in regional kennel clubs and following breeder-recommended health screenings for hips, elbows, and thyroid.

Under Hans Warren’s care, puppies live indoors with constant social contact and enjoy supervised play on grassy pastures adjacent to the farmhouse. They are gradually introduced to varied household noises, children, and livestock to foster adaptability and confidence. Adult terriers from Island Airedales have taken part in local obedience trials and offer informal therapy visits at area elder-care centers.

Before departure each pup leaves with a record of vet checkups and a starter guide for nutrition and training. The hillside homestead, inherited by Warren’s family decades ago, reflects a long-standing respect for working heritage and sound temperament.
