Hourglass Acres
Hourglass Acres has been raising fainting (myotonic) goats in Dry Ridge, Kentucky since 2016, making it one of the longer-running myotonic goat programs in the region north of Lexington, roughly an hour south of Cincinnati.
Owner Terin McAllister started the farm that year after the family purchased a piece of Kentucky hillside whose property shape inspired the name. The focus from the beginning has been on building a small herd of quality animals suited for show, breeding, and market use — a range that reflects the versatility the myotonic breed offers.
Hourglass Acres is registered with the Myotonic Goat Registry, and those looking for fainting goats for sale in Kentucky will find animals bred with attention to breed characteristics and conformation. The herd has grown across nearly a decade of active kidding, with individual does tracked by lineage and production records maintained on site.
