Holistic Life Farm

Holistic Life Farm raises miniature Durham shorthorn cattle on seventeen acres outside of Clatskanie, Oregon, in the northwest corner of the state near Portland. Dr. Paul Jensen, who brings a background in holistic patient care, founded the farm around the principle that food quality is central to long-term health.

The farm operates as a working homestead using sustainable, organic, and regenerative practices, including management-intensive grazing, no-till gardening, deep mulching, and composting. Cattle graze alongside sheep, goats, chickens, vegetable crops, berries, and fruit trees, all as part of an integrated land-care approach.

A driving motivation behind the cattle program is preserving the miniature Durham shorthorn as a heritage breed. The farm specifically focuses on keeping these animals from becoming endangered, making it one of the few sources for miniature shorthorn cattle for sale in Oregon dedicated to that conservation goal.
