Hendrix Farm

Hendrix Farm raises simmental cattle in Coker, AL in the Black Belt region near Tuscaloosa. It has more than fifteen years of breeding experience, holds membership in the American Simmental Association for herd improvement, and participates in registry health testing protocols for genetic soundness. Calves are handled daily from birth in covered calving pens, introduced to feed bunks early to ensure a smooth weaning process, and exposed to gentle socialization to promote ease of handling. Pasture fertility is managed through soil testing and balanced fertilizer applications to support consistent forage quality.

The herd grazes rotationally on mixed grass pastures with weatherproof shelters and year-round access to clean water.
