Hay & Heifers

Hay & Heifers is a Scottish highland cattle breeder in Alberta, Canada, in southern Alberta near Calgary. With more than 12 years dedicated to selective breeding, it holds memberships in the National Cattlemen’s Association and follows rigorous health testing for calving ease, genetic traits and hoof care.

Cattle graze across open prairie pastures and retreat to spacious, well ventilated barns during seasonal extremes. Calves engage in early group handling to foster social development and confidence around people.
