GVR Longhorns

GVR Longhorns raises registered Texas longhorn cattle at Green Valley Ranch in Dublin, Texas, situated in Erath County about 30 miles from Stephenville and roughly 80 miles southwest of Fort Worth. Cathy and Paul Valle have been ranching with longhorns for more than 20 years, building a herd with a clear focus on colorful, well-structured animals with strong genetics.

The herd's current sire, RJF Texas Rebel, carries genetics that show up distinctly in his progeny, including characteristic coat darkening and brindle patterning as calves mature. Some cows in the program have reached horn spreads above 90 inches, and fifth-generation calves have been born on the ranch, reflecting a long-standing commitment to consistent bloodlines. Bulls, steers, and heifers are raised on the property, with the herd known for its painted, multi-color coats.
