Green Meadow Farm

Green Meadow Farm, Dorper sheep, Millerburgs, IN, is located in Elkhart County and the Goshen area. Matt Yoder has focused on breeding Dorpers for more than 12 years, maintaining active membership in the American Dorper Sheep Council and adhering to strict health protocols including annual scrapie testing. Lambs are raised outdoors year-round on rotationally grazed pasture with access to shelter, and they undergo early socialization to ensure calm temperaments on small farms.

The flock combines solid black, white and red genetics selected for consistent growth rates and easy lambing, and ongoing hoof and parasite management keeps ewes and rams in sturdy condition. This approach yields sheep suited to sustainable homesteads, brush clearing and regional sale of quality breeding stock. Feedback from nearby households highlights steady health and manageable care needs across seasons. Several lambs have placed well at county fairs, reflecting consistent conformation and presence.
