Green Acres, Dorper sheep, Oneida, Tennessee, Scott County and the Cumberland Plateau near Knoxville. They have several years of experience raising Dorper sheep and follow state-recommended health screenings for parasite control and hoof trimming. Their flock resides in a ventilated barn connected to open pasture, where lambs learn to socialize naturally.

They focus on balanced nutrition and gentle handling from an early age, ensuring lambs grow calm and well-adjusted. Darrin Wilson and Dana Wilson oversee day-to-day care on their family farm and have provided inspiration for local 4-H projects. Green Acres blends traditional husbandry with animal welfare guidelines to support a thriving, resilient flock.

They practice seasonal pasture rotation across their fields to promote soil health, encourage diverse forage growth, and limit parasite exposure. Because Dorper sheep naturally shed their coats, they do not require shearing, simplifying routine care naturally.
