Granite Knoll Farm

Granite Knoll Farm has raised Limousin cattle in the Gold Hill area of east-central Alabama, near Auburn, since 1979, when Bob and Karen Carson established the operation. Robert, Kelly, and Jennie Carson, along with their own families, carry on the work started by their parents, keeping the farm squarely in family hands across multiple generations.

The Carsons grew up showing cattle at all levels of competition, and that background shaped how the herd is managed today. Two veterinarians in the family, along with a close association with the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, inform the health protocols followed on the property. Cattle are monitored daily, receive all-natural grains and minerals, and are maintained under a consistent vaccine and health schedule. The farm also works with a third-party auditor to maintain GAP certification and all-natural status.
