Grandiose Cardigan Welsh Corgis, based in Wasilla, Alaska, has been focused on cardigan Welsh corgis since owner Jessica Viera acquired her first cardigan in 2011. Wasilla sits in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley, roughly 45 miles north of Anchorage, making Grandiose one of the few dedicated cardigan Welsh corgi breeders in southcentral Alaska.

Jessica grew up in Alaska racing sled dogs, and corgis were part of her family from childhood. That long background with dogs informs an approach centered on producing cardigans that are sound in mind and body — dogs equally suited to companionship, the show ring, or performance events.

The program actively titles its dogs across a wide range of AKC activities, including conformation, obedience, rally, herding, lure coursing, trick dog, and barn hunt. Dogs bred by Grandiose can be found competing in nearly every sport open to the breed across the country. The kennel holds AKC Breeder of Merit status for cardigan Welsh corgis and is a member of the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of America.
