Golden Puppy Dog

Golden Puppy Dog raises AKC-registered golden retrievers in Aliso Viejo, California, in the coastal Orange County area south of Los Angeles. Sandra Belavilas founded the program with a focus on selecting parent dogs for both health and temperament, working from European and champion bloodlines to produce golden retriever puppies for sale in Southern California.

Parent dogs are health-tested through OFA evaluations covering hips, elbows, heart, and eyes, and complete DNA testing is conducted to screen for inheritable genetic diseases. The sire currently used in the program carries titles from FCI competition and earned Best of Breed recognition in Europe before coming to the United States.

Litters are raised with attention to early development, including neurological stimulation protocols and Volhard temperament testing before puppies leave for their new homes. Each puppy departs fully weaned, with its first vaccinations completed and AKC litter papers filed at birth.
