Goat Flower Farm
Goat Flower Farm raises fainting (myotonic) goats on a small farmette in Mount Joy, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, about 20 miles east of Harrisburg. Carol Ellis has been working with the breed since 1996, making this one of the longer-running myotonic goat programs among fainting goat breeders in Pennsylvania.
The farm's herd is registered with the Myotonic Goat Registry, and many animals carry dual registration with the International Fainting Goat Association as well. Color variety is a consistent focus across the breeding program, with kids produced in a wide range of markings and patterns.
Health testing is a clear priority at Goat Flower Farm. The entire herd has tested negative for CL, CAE, and Johne's disease, offering buyers meaningful assurance about the biosecurity standards maintained on the farm. Kids are typically disbudded before leaving, though the farm will accommodate requests to leave horns intact when notified early after birth.
