Jack holds a bachelor's degree and master's degree in Animal Science from Central Missouri State University, and he built the herd steadily over the following decades alongside his wife Vicky. Four generations of the Glendenning family have called the ranch home, and the operation today runs registered and commercial Limousin and Red Angus cow-calf pairs with involvement from the next generation.

Jack has served multiple terms on the NALF Board of Directors and the Missouri Limousin Breeders Association board, and he has been active in the Heart of Missouri Limousin Association for close to three decades. In 2020, he and Vicky were inducted into the MLBA Hall of Fame. The program also maintains an active embryo transfer and AI component, and the ranch has participated in select regional Limousin sales.
