Four Littles Farm

Four Littles Farm raises fainting (myotonic) goats in Keystone, FL, Clay County and north-central Florida near Gainesville. Amber Johnson has been breeding fainting goats for over ten years, holds membership with the Fainting Goat Association, and partners with a local veterinarian for ongoing health evaluations and genetic screenings.

The goats live on 10 acres of open pasture under a family homestead that once served as a working citrus grove, where rotational grazing supports sustainable forage production and herd wellness. Daily handling begins from birth, and kids are weaned at eight weeks with supervised integration into the larger herd. Every animal receives scheduled hoof trimming, dental checks, and parasite control, and transparent records inform pairing decisions. Guests notice the goats’ steady temperaments and the calming pattern of farm life during informal tours. The farm also supports community education through occasional workshops on goat care and sustainable farming practices.
