About East Meets West Family Farm

East Meets West Family Farm raises cashmere goats in Richford, VT, within Franklin County and the Lake Champlain region near Burlington. They participate in breed association programs and follow recommended health testing protocols for parasite and hoof examinations, as well as annual veterinary checkups.

Goats live on rotational pasture with access to draft shelters and clean bedding, and each kid is handled daily to encourage a calm temperament. Animals receive a balanced diet of legume hay and trace mineral supplements to support coat health and overall well-being.

The farm’s focus on natural fiber production ensures fleeces with a soft undercoat and consistent fiber diameter, suited for spinning and weaving.
