Earl Miller

Earl Miller has been raising Tibetan terriers in Sioux City, Iowa since the late 1990s, operating Gemms Kennels as a home-based program with roots that go back even further — soft coated wheaten terriers were part of the household as early as 1988. The kennel name is something of a misnomer: all dogs live inside the home, and any overflow stays with trusted family and friends rather than in a facility.

Situated in Sioux City in northwestern Iowa, not far from the tri-state corner where Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota meet, Gemms is an AKC preservation breeding program focused on health, structure, and temperament.
