Drinkwater F1 Savannah Cats, based in Spring Hill, Florida, has been focused exclusively on F1 Savannah cats since the breed was still in its experimental years. Owner Doreen Boileau began breeding Savannahs in the mid-1990s alongside a small group of founding breeders, making Drinkwater one of the longest-running F1 Savannah cat breeders in Florida and among the earliest in the country.

The cattery holds TICA registration and a Cattery of Excellence designation. Doreen works with multiple African serval sires drawn from distinct bloodlines, a deliberate choice to avoid inbreeding and maintain genetic diversity across generations. The savannah queens are selected for pure savannah lineage, and the resulting F1 kittens are produced year-round in a home environment alongside Great Danes and the everyday sounds of a household, which helps socialize cubs before they leave for their new homes.

Kittens depart with TICA registration, a full health certificate covering heart and eye exams, and blood testing confirming they are feline leukemia and FIV free. Parasite screening via fecal testing and booster vaccinations are also completed before placement. Drinkwater F1 Savannah Cats is located about an hour north of Tampa, within Hernando County on Florida's Gulf Coast.
