Doubletree Farm

Doubletree Farm, fainting (myotonic) goats, Camp Point, IL, in west central Illinois near Quincy. Pat Sharow has been raising fainting (myotonic) goats with care guided by breed standards and registered with major breed organizations, including routine hoof trimming, vaccination protocols and annual veterinary wellness checks.

Each goat is raised on pasture with regular socialization, access to clean shelters and high-quality forage sourced locally. The farm’s rolling pastures and nearby woodlines provide a diverse environment for foraging and exercise. Kids are handled from birth to encourage trust and ease the transition to new homes. The farm operates year-round with sustainable management practices that benefit both the animals and the land. Their calm temperament and sturdy health make them suitable for homesteads and educational settings. Sharow welcomes scheduled visits so families can learn about goat husbandry and meet the herd in person.
