Donna's Pampered Pets in Alvaton, Kentucky raises Scottish terriers, Boston terriers, West Highland white terriers, and Havanese out of a home-based program in Warren County, about 15 miles south of Bowling Green. Owner Donna Beth Bratcher has been raising puppies for over 30 years, with dogs placed across the United States, Canada, and as far as Scotland.

A former first-grade teacher, Donna brings that background in early development to her approach with puppies, handling and socializing each one from birth. The program operates from her home, where pups grow up alongside daily household routines before heading to their new families.

The kennel is subject to random AKC inspections, and many families who find West Highland white terrier puppies in Kentucky through her program return for subsequent dogs, often referring friends and relatives. Donna stays in contact with owners throughout the life of each dog, not just at the time of placement.
