Daniel Felt

Daniel Felt breeds Shire horses in Delano, MN, Wright County and the Twin Cities near Minneapolis. He has dedicated over a decade to breeding Shire horses and maintains membership in the Shire Horse Society of North America. His breeding stock undergo annual health screenings for joint soundness and genetic traits in line with industry guidelines.

Horses are raised on pasture with daily turnout in spacious paddocks edged by hardwood groves for varied footing and natural shelter. Foals receive early handling, regular socialization with other livestock and a feeding program of hay, forage and age-appropriate grain. Animals from recent foal crops have drawn positive feedback at local fairs for their steady temperaments and responsiveness to light driving.

Visits are arranged by appointment and offer a window into the herd’s daily life and care philosophy. The small-scale operation emphasizes quality of life and transparent communication about lineage and care routines.
