Culham & Stevens raises Suffolk sheep on the outskirts of Webberville, Michigan, about 20 miles east of Lansing in mid-Michigan's agricultural heartland. Alan Culham and the Stevens family operate the program together under the registered name Culham & Stevens Suffolks LLC.

The operation has been enrolled in the National Sheep Improvement Program (NSIP) since 1988, one of the longer-running NSIP participation records among Suffolk breeders for sale in Michigan. NSIP membership means the flock is evaluated using objective, science-based estimated breeding values rather than visual selection alone, with a particular emphasis on growth rate traits. Alan Culham also holds certification as a sheep shearer, reflecting a hands-on, working-farm approach to the operation.
