Cross Keys K9 Working Line German Shepherds, based in Williamstown, New Jersey, breeds working line German shepherd dogs from carefully selected European bloodlines for companions, service dogs, and working programs. Founded in 2010 by Jacqueline Levy and Steve LaFlamme, the kennel launched its formal 15-year breeding program in 2012 and has since produced well over twenty litters of both working and companion dogs.

Located in southern New Jersey, roughly 20 miles southeast of Philadelphia, the program draws its foundation stock from proven working lines originating in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, and Slovakia, including bloodlines that arrived in the United States in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Every dog on the property has an active role in daily kennel life, from socializing and teaching manners to younger dogs to serving in protection and perimeter work.

The breeding philosophy at Cross Keys K9 centers on producing a clear-headed, balanced dog with sound nerves, high intelligence, and reliable working ability. All breeding dogs undergo health screening for hip dysplasia via PennHip and OFA evaluations, and the kennel maintains a strict policy of breeding only dogs that have tested normal for the degenerative myelopathy gene mutation.
