Cross Bay and Blackfall, run by Tiffany Newman, breeds Labrador retrievers in Granby, Connecticut, a small town in the Hartford County foothills about 20 miles northwest of Hartford. The program traces its roots to 1992, making it one of the longer-standing Labrador retriever breeders in Connecticut.

The breeding stock draws from established English and American bloodlines, including the Blondella, Briary, and Sandylands lines, which have historically been associated with Labrador type and temperament. The program's stated aim is to produce dogs that reflect true Labrador form while also serving as devoted companions. Miniature pinschers are also part of the program alongside the Labs.
