Crooked Horn Farm
Crooked Horn Farm raises 100% purebred fainting (myotonic) goats in Staffordsville, Virginia, situated in the mountains of Giles County in southwestern Virginia, not far from Blacksburg. Owner Randy Ott grew up around crop farms in piedmont Maryland and brought that affinity for animals and the outdoors with him when he and his wife chose to put down roots in the Virginia highlands.
The farm operates as a small, emerging homestead where the goats are treated as members of the family alongside the family dogs. Beyond the myotonic herd, the property also supports a seasonal flock of chickens and a working vegetable and fruit garden. All goats are registered through the Myotonic Goat Registry (MGR), making Crooked Horn Farm a source for MGR-registered fainting goat kids in Virginia for buyers looking for documented, purebred stock.
