Countryside Critters

Countryside Critters raises fainting (myotonic) goats in Minot, North Dakota, in the heart of the northern plains about an hour's drive from Bismarck. The farm is run by Ashley Haugen, who grew up in the area and started the operation on a five-acre property acquired in 2013.

The herd got its start in 2019, when the farm brought in its first goats, and the program grew steadily from there. All of the goats are 100% purebred myotonic goats and registered with the Myotonic Goat Registry, making Countryside Critters a registered source for fainting goats in North Dakota.
