Country Haven Standard Poodles

Country Haven Standard Poodles raises standard poodles on 10 acres in Ogden, Utah, in the shadow of the Wasatch Mountains in Northern Utah. The program is run by Monica Bailey, and the dogs have ample space to run and a stimulating environment as part of their daily life.

Health testing is a central part of the program. Breeding dogs are screened through PennHIP for hip laxity and DNA-tested via Embark across an extensive panel that includes VWD, PRCD/PRA, degenerative myelopathy, neonatal encephalopathy with seizures, congenital hypothyroidism, gangliosidosis, skeletal dwarfism, and more. Some dogs in the program have tested clear of over 170 additional genetic conditions through Embark, and all health testing certificates are available to prospective owners upon request.
