Coraz'On Havanese

Coraz'On Havanese, run by Pamela Rolla, breeds Havanese in Wappapello, a small lake community in the Ozark foothills of southeastern Missouri, roughly an hour south of Cape Girardeau.

The program's focus centers on health, temperament, conformation, and structural soundness. All breeding adults are health tested in accordance with Havanese Club of America guidelines, with results registered with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. Any dog found unsuitable for breeding is spayed or neutered and placed as a pet.

Pamela also shows her Havanese, allowing them to be evaluated against their peers by licensed judges. Dogs that don't take to the show environment are not pressed into it. Seven grandchildren living nearby serve as a built-in socialization committee, helping ensure that puppies raised here are comfortable around people of all ages before they leave for their new homes.
