Companion Pups

Companion Pups, run by Tammie in Whitwell, Tennessee, raises AKC-registered pugs and Pomeranians in the Sequatchie Valley, roughly 40 miles southeast of Chattanooga. The program draws on roughly two decades of breeding experience and sources its dogs from AKC and internationally imported champion lines, with health testing on parent dogs before breeding.

Pug puppies in the program are selected with a close eye on breed standard — compact, square body structure, thick bone, full nose rolls, and appropriately placed ears, with a preference for the black and fawn color ranges, including a signature silver fawn. Pomeranians follow a similar show-line standard, with a lean toward the shorter-bodied European structure and dense, long coats.
