Avalon Poms

Avalon Poms has been breeding Pomeranians in Pocatello, Idaho since 1992, making it one of the longer-running small show kennels in the region. Pocatello sits in southeastern Idaho, roughly 170 miles northeast of Salt Lake City, and the program operates as a small, family-run operation with a focus on AKC show lines.

The kennel's breeding stock traces back to notable champion bloodlines, including lineage connected to Great Elms Prince Charming II, the only Pomeranian to have won Best in Show at the Westminster Dog Show. That foundation has shaped the program's long-standing emphasis on quality, type, and temperament developed over more than three decades.

Puppies from Avalon Poms are AKC registered and raised with daily socialization from an early age. The program produces Pomeranian puppies in Idaho suited for companion homes, the show ring, and breeding programs, and the kennel maintains a focus on preserving strong show bloodlines across a range of colors, including white, cream, orange, red, and occasional black and tan.
