Cedar & Sage Alpacas

Cedar & Sage Alpacas raises huacaya alpacas in Cuba City, Wisconsin, in the rolling farming country of southwestern Wisconsin near Dubuque, Iowa. Travis Brant and his partner Sarah have been building their herd since 2021, working to source alpacas for sale in Wisconsin with genetics drawn from award-winning breeding partners.

The program is guided by a commitment to improving the herd against Alpaca Owners Association breed standards, with selection focused on fleece quality, conformation, maternal traits, and temperament. Rather than breeding for a single trait, the approach treats those qualities as interconnected, aiming for animals that reflect a balanced standard across the board.
