Case Ranch

Case Ranch has been raising registered Hereford cattle in Mertzon, Texas since the family first entered the registered Hereford business in 1941, making it one of the longer-standing Hereford programs in the Concho Valley region of West Texas, roughly an hour southeast of San Angelo.

The ranch is family owned and operated across multiple generations. Pete Case, who has led the operation since taking over from his father in 2010, has served as president and secretary of the Concho Hereford Association and was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture to serve two terms on the Cattlemen's Beef Board. Angela Case transitioned from a career in education to full-time ranching in 2016, taking on hay production to support the cattle herd.

A member of the Texas Hereford Association, Case Ranch focuses on the ongoing development of its registered Hereford herd and participates in production sales.
