Caramuru

Caramuru has been breeding Boston terriers and French bulldogs in Gilroy, California since 2006, when owner Fernanda Barlow was first drawn into the breed through a Boston terrier puppy named SpitFire. The kennel sits in the South Bay region of Northern California, roughly 30 miles south of San Jose, and serves families looking for Boston terrier puppies and French bulldogs in California from a show-focused program.

Fernanda's interest in French bulldogs grew alongside her Boston terrier program after encountering the breed at a dog show, and Caramuru now develops champions and quality companions in both breeds. Conformation showing is a central part of the program, with dogs earning titles at regional and national specialties. Health testing has been documented across the kennel's dogs, including BAER, CERF, JHC DNA, patella, hip, and spine evaluations.

Fernanda is a member of several breed clubs, including the Boston Terrier Club of America, the French Bulldog Club of America, the Golden Gate Boston Terrier Club, the Sierra Gold Boston Terrier Club, and the Minuteman Boston Terrier Club.
