Over more than a decade of breeding, Cameron O’Mara has maintained active membership in the American Shorthorn Association and follows recommended genetic and health testing protocols, including annual vet inspections and documented lineage records. O’Mara also works with the county extension office and takes part in local fairs to stay informed on herd management techniques and support the wider cattle community.

Its cattle roam rotational pasture behind the farmhouse and have access to sheltered calving pens designed for comfort and hygiene. Several of its steers and heifers have earned ribbons at regional livestock shows, reflecting steady attention to balanced bloodlines and temperament. A focus on gentle handling, socialization from birth and biosecurity measures helps maintain a calm herd adapted to both dairy and beef production. Thoughtful land stewardship through managed grazing supports soil health and forage diversity.
