Burris Ridge Kennels

Burris Ridge Kennels raises cavalier King Charles spaniels and Boston terriers in Carlisle, Kentucky, situated in the rolling hills of the Bluegrass region about 30 miles northeast of Lexington. The operation is run by Levi Eicher and is Amish-owned.

The kennel is a small facility with inside and outside runs that give dogs ample room to move and exercise daily. The runs are pressure-washed weekly, and the building is heated and equipped with a dedicated wash area for bathing. Most dogs are registered with the AKC or, for border collies, the American Border Collie Association, and puppies leave with a health record, vaccinations, deworming, and a complimentary microchip through the National Microchip Registry.
