Buck Hill Farm raises Kerry cattle in Westminster, Massachusetts, a rural town in north-central Massachusetts roughly an hour west of Boston. Jody Jess, who also serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the American Kerry Cattle Association, operates the farm and is involved in the broader effort to preserve and document the Kerry breed in North America.

The AKCA, with which Buck Hill Farm is affiliated, maintains pedigree records and a herd book focused specifically on Kerry cattle preservation in the United States and Canada, where fewer than 75 breeding females are currently known to exist.
