Brooks Shires is a Shire horse breeder in Paoli, OK, Carter County and southeast Oklahoma near Ardmore. Brody D. Brooks has managed this program for several years and maintains membership in national breed registries, ensuring each foal undergoes soundness exams and genetic health screenings.

Foals are raised in small groups to foster social bonds and handled daily to build confidence well before training. Stallions and broodmares graze on native pastures supplemented by local hay and grain, and routine veterinary oversight is provided by a regional equine specialist.
