Bright Hope Farm

Bright Hope Farm raises Katahdin sheep in Clarkesville, GA, in Northeast Georgia near Atlanta. Its owner, Amelia Boggs, has been caring for hair sheep for more than a decade and follows recommended health testing and breeding guidelines from recognized sheep associations. The registered stock reflects a focus on hardiness and parasite resistance suited for varied climates.

The flock grazes on rotational paddocks and has access to sheltered barns, with daily handling that helps lambs grow accustomed to gentle social interaction. Lambs are evaluated for structural soundness and mothering instincts before they join the breeding flock. Bright Hope Farm began as a small homestead project and has since shared breeding stock with community farmers who value sustainable, pasture-based management.

Bright Hope Farm also maintains a seed mix with clover and grasses to enrich soil fertility and improve nutrition for the flock.
