Black Valley Mini Herefords, Hereford cattle, Le Roy, NY, Genesee County and the Finger Lakes region near Rochester. It has been breeding a selective herd for several years, following American Hereford Association standards and maintaining regular veterinary health screenings.

Its cattle graze on rotational pastures surrounding the farmstead, and calves are gently handled from birth to encourage calm temperaments. Its herd includes multiple national junior show champions and lines known for docility, reflecting the farm’s emphasis on breeding versatile beef cattle. The farm’s open barn design allows cattle to move freely while sheltering under hardwood timber stands, supporting herd comfort year-round.

Housed on family-owned land since the early 2000s, the operation supports local agricultural education through 4-H events and occasional farm tours. Pedigree records are kept up to date and available for review, demonstrating consistent attention to lineage and performance traits.
