Black Beaver Creek Kennel - Paige Bisbee

Black Beaver Creek Kennel, run by Paige Bisbee on a 160-acre farm outside of Orr, Minnesota, has been raising AKC-registered miniature and tweenie dachshunds since 2002. The kennel sits in Minnesota's Northwoods region, roughly an hour north of International Falls and about two hours north of Duluth.

The Bisbee family's program focuses on long-haired and wire-haired dachshunds that meet breed standards, with an emphasis on family-friendly temperament and thorough socialization. The kennel also raises Komondor livestock guardian dogs, a program started in 2015. Black Beaver Creek is licensed and inspected by the Minnesota Board of Animal Health, and the family describes a lifelong commitment to the health of every puppy they place.

Over more than two decades of breeding dachshunds in Minnesota, the kennel has placed dogs in nearly every state in the lower 48, as well as in Puerto Rico and multiple Canadian provinces. Puppies come with a health guarantee covering the first year of life.
