Bernese Mountain Dogs

Bernese Mountain Dogs by Jay Miller operates out of Millersburg, Ohio, in the heart of Ohio's Holmes County region, roughly 30 minutes from Canton. The program is part of a small network of family breeders focused on Bernese mountain dogs, with an emphasis on health standards and transparency throughout the breeding process.

All adult dogs in the program are AKC registered, and breeding stock is evaluated using OFA and PennHIP assessments to support sound hip and joint health in each litter. Puppies are health-checked by a licensed veterinarian, kept current on vaccinations and deworming, and come with a two-year genetic health guarantee. Each pup is also microchipped before going to its new home.

Daily socialization is a consistent part of how puppies are raised, and families receive a starter kit along with a healthy start guide when they bring a puppy home. Golden retrievers are also part of the program. The focus across both breeds stays on producing healthy, well-adjusted dogs suited for family life.
